Ramakrishna Mission, Vijayawada came into existence on February 6, 2001. It is a branch centre of Ramakrishna Mission Headquarters (website), Belur Math which was founded by Swami Vivekananda in 1897.

Government aided school and has 350 students. The Mission provides
free education, uniforms, scholarships, books and stationery to deserving students.

| Viveka Vahini |

Viveka Vahini is a mobile unit carrying audio – video equipment, pictorial exhibits, a beautiful life-size image, literature on the life and message of Swami Vivekananda. This Unit will go to different educational institutions and rural areas taking the life-giving message of the illustrious Swami to the young students and rural-folk.
